The roof deck is constructed from galvanized steel panels, each fastened to the wood beams using #8 x 1 ¾” waterproof hex head Tek screws with rubber seals to ensure a watertight connection. For proper installation, each panel must overlap the preceding panel and be securely screwed in place to maintain structural integrity and weather protection.
For T-shed configurations, the roof must extend 6 inches beyond the outer edge of the cantilever arms to provide full coverage and effective protection from the elements.
The roof deck is constructed from galvanized steel panels, each securely fastened to the wood support beams using #8 x 1 ¾” waterproof hex head Tek screws with integrated rubber seals to prevent moisture intrusion. For proper installation, each panel must overlap the previous one and be fastened accordingly to ensure a watertight seal.
On L-Shed configurations, the roof can either sit flush against a wall or extend 6" beyond the rear—provided back panels are installed. These panels are supported by 2" x 4" wood beams for added structural integrity. Additionally, the roof must extend 6" beyond the front edge of the cantilever arms to provide adequate weather protection.
